I’m Back and Raring to . . . zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Bender!

Bender!

So I’m back from the exile, which was cut in half due to something going on at home that left the wife without a car.  Then other things happened such as bad pizza, Wi-fi in the room died, and I just took the signs to go.  That means cutting it in half at the last minute was a good idea.  So, what did I accomplish in 2.5 days?

  • Finished editing Book 11.
  • Prepared all of the September posts.
  • Formatted the special thing.  I’ll put in for the final piece of that tomorrow after errands.
  • Watched the rest of Merlin Season 3, Casino Royale, and Quantum of Solace.  I did say the Wi-fi cut out on me.

The next two days will be family time in a way.  Tomorrow is going to be hot, so it’s school supply shopping day and family lunch.  After that will be a bit cooler, but not by much.  It might be overcast if we’re lucky.  Either way we’ll do a trip to the big zoo with a lot of water.  So my computer time will be limited until mid-September.

The only time I’ll be leaping onto the computer to do stuff is if I get that last part for The Merchant of Nevra Coil.  Not having that part means I’m at a loss of what to do and I don’t want to make any promises.  We all know this tale.  So I don’t know what I’ll do with the Teaser Tuesday stuff.  Maybe I’ll grab a bit out of ‘Raven’s Hold’ or whatever I called that supernatural thriller.  No idea what to do with that one.  As usual, I’m open to requests and suggestions for teasers and question 3 topics.

And there’s thunder overhead.  Hope to see people at the TWUBS Chat and fingers crossed that my Internet issues are over.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Great having you back, Charles. Sorry to hear you had to cut your trip short. That’s never a good thing. At least you now have more time to spend with the family. I hope you get your wi-fi issue resolved. Seems like you did considering you were able to get this post out, unless you did it on your phone–but I’m sure that’s a story for another time!

    • Eh, it was for the best. My laptop kept getting kicked off the Internet from Saturday night into Sunday when I left. So that Sunday night Twitter Chat would have been disastrous. The Internet came back for enough time to get things done about 10 minutes at a time, which wouldn’t have worked. Though I think this post was made after I got home.

My phone doesn’t get along with the WordPress App. So I can’t post from that. Technology hates me. 😦

      • I don’t know. I’ve had some pretty epic tech issues. Specifically, hard drives. I got one computer that came with a cracked HD, but I didn’t find out until my 4th system rebuild in a month. Then there’s the one that got fired by a messed up Windows update. The current one isn’t locked in because of a stripped screw spot, so it pops out and gives me a heart attack from time to time.

Still not as bad as my friend who has walked by and touched various music players only for them to die. Video game systems tend to explode on him too.

Your friend sounds like a static eater. I know a few like that who can wear watches. Not fun.

      • Interesting term. Sounds like a mutant, so I’ll have to use his power for good. Or at least personal gain. 🙂
