FFVII Lifestream
Many can use magic
Very few can embrace it
An ancient bloodline
From a fallen tribe
Driving into dormancy
Until the two will rise
Fire and lightning
Summoned with mere thought
A maelstrom of aura
Just waiting to explode
Controlled by instinctive gifts
So Windemere stays intact
About Charles Yallowitz
Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
Great imagery, Charles. Makes for a wonderful promo for your Windemere world!

That sounds like a really cool prophecy!

Windemere is full of them. God of Destiny has a lot of time on his hands and he’s kind of responsible for entertaining the others. Though he doesn’t see it that way.

I suspect his victims don’t see it that way, either…

Does he really have victims though? He plays both sides without becoming emotionally involved. Windemere needs some level of destiny to keep moving and evolving as people will see as other series pop up. π

Well, I’ve only read the first book so far, but he did come across as a tad cold.

He is cold, but it’s part of the job. Emotional investment in either side would get him to play favorites, which goes against his role. After all, he doesn’t only forge the heroic destinies. Villains have to come from somewhere. π

Actually, this sort of balance is one of the things I like best about Windemere π

Thanks. It’s a hard thing to pull off though. π
