Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State.     That was thought provoking. Writing in present tense really messed with my head the one time that I tried it. I kept having to remember the immediacy of the character’s actions. Very challenging! How cool that this is second nature to you.
