I get the 50 Shades one, but I think you lost me on the Dr. Seuss part. I’d love to read his stuff all day. Wait. Now that I think about it, the contrast would probably melt their minds. Ouch.

I suppose that it definitely fall under the unusual punishment. Not sure about cruel 🙂

Let’s be honest. The term ‘unusual punishment’ was coined when they were still doing some mean stuff to convicts. So we might have more wiggle room than we think. (I really should stay away from public forums when writing a villain scene.)

Does it count if we’re not working under the orders of a country or it isn’t war time? I thought that was only for war crimes.
