Well, I’ll be gone for tomorrow and going on an adventure. Sort of. I’m helping a friend out with something baseball related. I get to be a techie here, which is smart because I can’t play baseball even if my life depends on it. Hence the song above only I wasn’t as capable.
In other news, I’m already done with 4 of the 7 fairy tales for the novella. I’ll definitely be done by the weekend, which means back to Windemere next week. This has been a lot of fun and a big challenge. I slip into past tense at times and I’m not used to first person POV. Add in the difficulty in fairy tale structure, which has repetition and simplicity. One thing I’m not used to and the other is frowned up on novels.
This is really shaping up to be a tiring week. Still exciting and fun.

This sounds like a really cool project. I don’t think my daughter reads fairy tells to my granddaughter. She sometimes misses the morals in favor of the Disney princess being saved. They have other fun books that teach morals, but a fairy tale is a fairy tale.

I guess most kids miss the morals and go with the characters. Though it seems older kids think about it if you talk to them.

I added 2 fairy tales and didn’t work on it yesterday. I might not get much done today either. At least from the noise that seems to be starting up downstairs.
