Location Poem: Haven

Quaint and calm
Fringed by serene forests
Haven nestles in the hills
Where bees buzz
And lazy windmills spin

Home to epic heroes
Yet not filled with pesky guests
Only merchants come to call
For precious candy
Or weapons made with skill

The mansion on the hill
Once home to legends great
Home to mayor and his kin
While open to all friends
Even those who crossed a line

None whisper stories
For no adventures ever came
Haven has remained untouched
Purity unmarred
By history’s cruel embrace

Get ready for Allure of the Gypsies on December 1st!

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

A lovely description. And this is why I read fantasy books. ๐Ÿ™‚ How exciting about the upcoming book launch.
