This week is going to be busy with a lot of work and catch up. It’s starting with a Breast Cancer Walk this morning as long as I can get my gut to calm down. Been having to pop the dizzy pills a lot this week to fend off attacks. In that arena, I have my follow-up with the gastro doctor on Thursday. Should be fine unless they think tests are needed due to the sudden increase this week. Funeral and trying to get two books ready for publishing might have done it though. Nowhere to relax around here and not much support to relax anyway. Getting the ‘you’re quitting after December 31st’ speech yesterday didn’t help even though he swears that isn’t what he means. People around here wonder why my gut is always in pain. Maybe my intestines are trying to escape to strangle me and put us out of our misery.
This is the last week of scheduled posts, so I’ll have to start working on ones for the next week. Not sure about topics, so we’ll see what happens. It will be on Halloween week, but I’m not sure I want to do a full week of that stuff. Maybe on holidays in fiction or something to that extent. I have so much to do.
The Post-Ramble Goals:
- Finish typing in hand edits for Legends of Windemere: Family of the Tri-Rune.
- Prepare Catalysts for Halloween release.
- Continue preparing Legends of Windemere: Allure of the Gypsies for release.
- Use the ‘stop these habits’ lessons from Ionia to clean up Legends of Windemere: Beginning of a Hero. Might do this today.
- Cook dinners if able.
- Try to finish The Slumber War set up.
- Glare at wife for still not being done with Legends of Windemere: The Compass Key. Been months.
- Possibly sleep in one day this week. Can’t be Thursday because of 9 AM appointment.
- Drink until I forget that Dinosaur Erotica exists. Thanks, Cracked.com for this nugget of knowledge. You’re welcome to everyone for sharing this horror. Why should I suffer alone?
- Get back into the exercising schedule.

I love to see your goal posts articles. They remind me of the need to set goals and take things one at a time instead of trying to do it all at once and becoming so terribly overwhelmed. I need to start making a list of five things daily, and pat myself on the back if I can accomplish three in one day, and move two forward.

I need to work on the not being overwhelmed or reducing stress. Starting off today with those muscle pains, which isn’t a good sign.

WOW! Really nice post, best of luck.:) I usually write down my goals for the day but end up doing nothing. Nonetheless, I’ll keep going hopefully i’ll be able to achieve at least one thing every day.

Thanks. I started weekly goals because daily was leading to nothing. At least with a week, I can adjust my speed every day.

Wow. I’m lucky if I can achieve a couple goals in a week. You are ambitious. Best wishes, specially with the stomach and writing. cheers

I’m hoping for half completion here.

Your goal posts make my life seem calm. I can’t imagine the pressure connected with the December deadline. It is not natural for a writer to have a gun to the head and be expected to churn out the work. I guess it shows how good you really are.

I think that deadline is what put me over the edge today. One of the worst gut spasm attacks I’ve had in two months and the meds weren’t doing anything. I’m glad I have the follow-up this week because I’m wondering if I need a mild anxiety medication.

I have a prescription to Margarita, but with the stomach may not be right for you

Probably not. Though, I’m happy to test the theory.

I think always including a humorous goal is a great idea. 🙂

Wonder what happens if the humorous goal is the only one I achieve.

Dino erotica. I think I found your next niche Charles! Think of the millions to be made writing dinosaur stories for perverts? 😉 Hope your support begins to, well, actually support at some point soon.

I’m not going anywhere near that genre. I’m disturbed even knowing it exists and has such a big following.

I saw that on Huffington Post the other day. Makes me wonder what else people might buy. Dust Bunny erotica? Lint Trap Love? Soap Scum Seduction? The possibilities are endless! he he he
