Clarity from Patton Oswalt

Truthfully, I never know what to say or do when stuff like this happens.  I’ve already had discussions on if this will lead to war, what should be done to those responsible, and various other unsavory conversations born of rage and sadness.  Then, I stumbled onto this and it put things in perspective.  The evil ones are the minority of our species.  It might not seem that way because they get more attention for their horrible deeds, but there is more good than evil in the overall human species.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

I agree, though seeing the picture of the little girl that died sent me over the moon. Just unacceptable.

    • I’m avoiding the pictures and news right now. I know I wouldn’t be able to sleep if I do and most of the information still feels like conjecture and guesses. I won’t deny that a cynical part of me is in the ‘what the hell is going to happen next?’ stage.

I was touched by his words as well. Who knew he was so articulate? I agree — it was just exactly what so many of us needed.
