Dragon’s Loyalty Award

As a fantasy author, I have to accept this one, but I think I’m only going to do a few nominations . . . you know what everyone can join in on this.  Time is short, my friends list is long, and dragons love everyone.  Sometimes as friends and sometimes as a snack, but they do love everyone.

A great big “Thank you!” to the very talented author, When I Became an Author.  I’ve seen this award around was wondering when/if it would come my way.  Again, I really wonder what the origin of this one is because it’s an odd title for a generic blogging award.

The rules for this award are:
1.         Display the Award Certificate on your website.
2.         Announce your win with a written post and link to whoever presented your award.
3.         Present 15 awards to deserving bloggers.

4.         Drop them a comment to tip them off after you have liked them in the post.
5.         Post 7 interesting things about yourself.

So here goes!

Seven Interesting Things about Me:

  1. I have a scar on the back of my left wrist from getting my hand caught in a hot oven.  Never cook when sleepy.
  2. My birthday is April 9th, which is the same as Hugh Hefner.
  3. I love jigsaw puzzles.
  4. One of my imaginary friends as a child was a purple polka dragon named Ichabod.
  5. I’m always tired even when I get a lot of sleep.
  6. My favorite brand of beer is Sam Adams.
  7. I have about 10 boxes of comics in my closet, but I stopped collecting after the Spider Clone Saga broke my heart.  I managed to get a good amount of first appearance comics.

Nominations:

EVERYONE!

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Congratulations on the Award! Check with your Doc about #5, you might have a sleeping disorder. My wife made me, and now I have one of those breathing machines for sleep apnea, and I have to say what a difference that has made. You know you are getting older when you can’t stop talking about how awesome those new Dr. Scholl inserts are, and how great you feel with the breathing machine. 😉 Doesn’t hurt to mention it, and the machine is quite quiet.

Thanks. I’m going next week, so I figure I’ll bring it up. I’m guessing it’s sleep apnea caused by me being overweight, which I’m working on. It could also just be that I’m older and can’t function on as little sleep as I used to get.

No kidding. It really is hell getting old. And we were promised flying cars and bionic parts by now. I feel ripped off. Oh well.

I’m happy about the flying cars. My wife is dangerous enough on land. Though, I could use a bionic stomach and maybe a bionic eye. Those could come in handy.

Congrats on the award. And a second on the CPAP. My life changed after getting one. I can actually concentrate now.
