Morning of Awards

I’d like to thank the people who have been nominating me for the blogger awards.  I greatly appreciate it.  The only thing is that I’m getting things for the second and third time and I don’t have a lot of time this week to push them.  I feel bad not going through with the rules on these,  so I’ll see if I can do them later.  The hardest part is deciding on who to nominate and contacting them.  The 15’s are exceptionally tough.

For now, I just want to do a public thank you and ask that people check out the sites linked sites.  You know, why don’t I just nominate everyone here and you guys can follow the rules.  I really don’t want to pick and choose on these too because so many people have been inspiring and ‘REALITY’ to me.

Thank you to Daily Echo for this nomination.

The rules for this one, answer the five questions, nominate and notify five other blogs and link back to the blog who nominated you.

1. If you could change one thing, what would you change? The price of movie tickets.  $8.50 for a 98 minute movie?  Bruce Willis better be cursing and giving some amazing beatdowns on this one.

2. If you could repeat an age, what would it be? Any year? 3 because my son seems to be having so much fun at that age.

3. What is one thing that really scares you? Kristen Stewart and I don’t know why.  Though, I’ve got the phobia to a simple unease when I see her picture.

4. What is one dream you have not completed and do you think you will be able to accomplish it?
I’m not sure.  Married, kid, and published author were the big ones.  Probably visit Greece, New Zealand, or Australia, which is doable if I can ever get enough money.

5. If you could be someone else for one day, who would it be?
I’m still going with Stan Lee on this one.

Thank you to Freelittlewords for this nomination.

So, here are the rules:

  1. Display the logo on your blog
  2. Link back to the person who nominated you
  3. State 7 things about yourself
  4. Nominate 15 other bloggers for the award
  5. Notify your nominees by linking to their blogs so they get notified by ping-back.

7 Facts About Myself

  1. When I got a job at a local Hollywood Video (R.I.P.), I was briefly known as the guy who bought all three Beverly Hills Cop movies on DVD at once.
  2. I own the special box sets of Fellowship of the Ring and Two Towers, but not Return of the King.
  3. I own a beaten up copy of Iron Fist #14 (first appearance of Sabretooth) and a near mint condition copy of Wolverine #1 (limited series)
  4. My favorite pizza topping is pineapple.
  5. I used to talk to birds when I was a kid because I thought it made them stay around me longer.
  6. As a kid, I once ate a whole pizza and then entered a spinning contest.  It did not end well.
  7. I once interviewed for a job at a ‘movie distributor’ company.  It ended up being adult videos.  I didn’t get the job.

So, that’s everything except the nominations which take a long time that I don’t have.  Today is movie and meal with the wife while the grandparents watch the child.  I’m sorry I couldn’t do the nomination part.  Again, please check out Daily Echo and Freelittlewords.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
