nce upon a time, the whole European landmass was covered by more people than humans.

Centaurs roamed the open forests. Cyclops lived a tribal lifestyle in the deeper forests. Humans mingled with these races, but it wasn’t always a happy existence. Humans expanded their cities, and forced many of these races out. Some of the human women formed bands of their own called Amazons.

They are all gone now; only the humans remain. A brilliant researcher, named Boyack, combed through ancient pottery shards and scrolls and discovered bits and pieces of their story. The stories always led back to a Southern Dwarf who may have been named Paulus Atrius. Most of the texts refer to him simply as Cobby.

Boyack aggregated these bits and pieces into a story he called, The Cock of the South. This story tells the tale of these other peoples, before man took completely over.

Just a quick note today, and one some of you might be interested in.

Paperback copies of Torn are finally here! Formatting issues are all cleared up, and they look fantastic. Drool-worthy, even. A little distracting, actually.

Crazy! Hot! And Living On The Edge!!

By now you have probably picked up that I have been stalked by crazy people in my life’s experiences. I was beginning to think that something was wrong with me. Why was I running into these people? Why couldn’t I have a normal relationship?

I found the answers along life’s bumpy road. I…

DAVEY & DEREK JUNIOR DETECTIVES  (SERIES)

BOOK ONE

THE CASE OF THE MISSING CELL PHONE

It is still exciting to announce a new book from Jemsbooks! This book which is my seventh published book, Davey & Derek Junior Detectives, Book 1 – The Case of the Missing Cell Phone, is a middle-grade series for Grades 4-7, ages 9-12. The first book is an introduction of more to come. I am already working on book 2.  My plan is to write two-three stories this year and 2016.  Depending upon the interest in this series I may write more hopefully. The cover was created by my husband, John, who is the illustrator of all of my children’s books.

My goal to have books for all ages and I am getting there. I will be planning a giveaway on Goodreads in about two weeks.
