Another Collection of Son Art: My Hero Academia Chibis

Took a while due to scheduling, but my son finally finished the 6 Chibi versions of ‘My Hero Academia’ characters.  A chibi is a cute, small character found in Japanese cartoons.  They can either be that way originally or a version of another character. He was using ‘Cartooning Club How to Draw‘ for guidance on these:

All Might

Deku- Izuku Midoriya

Bakugo

Todoroki

Tsu- Froppy

Dabi

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Those are good pieces of fan art. Funny enough, I saw someone wearing a MHA shirt when I saw Progress yesterday, so the timing was interesting. Hope things are well with you.

    • Thanks. Things are moving along. Somewhere. It’s another year of me dragging myself to the finish line. Hope you’re doing well too.

No problem. While I don’t have the same situation as you, I do feel like I’ve been dragging myself along with different things. It’s also why I haven’t been as active in posting things besides my film reviews on one of my blogs. I’ve just been swamped with work and so many other things.

      • I hear you. It’s really wearing me down. Hard to keep my hope high enough to keep working too. Life gets far too messy.

Thanks for relating. I’ve had moments where I think everything is bleak even when I’m encouraged.

      • Encouragement doesn’t always work. Depends on the delivery for me. If I think the person is doing it without thinking or because they feel awkward then I don’t take it well.

Sorry for the delay. Don’t get me wrong, if someone is genuine about encouraging me, then I certainly appreciate it. If they’re just doing it to be nice or are being fake, then I have issues with that.

      • Same here. Think it’s getting worse as I get older too.

Gotcha. Yeah, it’s been worse for me even as I never realized how much people have tried to make me look crazy whenever I would call them out or make me feel like I was the badguy regardless if I did anything wrong or not.

      • My thing is that I run until people who try to calm me down or handle me being upset solely to make themselves feel better. There’s no attempt to listen.

Just realized we’re doing this on a post about my son’s drawings. How did that happen? It really has been a weird week.

Sorry to hear about all of that.

Yeah, and it was quite a twist. Sorry about that. I’ve had several rough weeks in a row and it happened to spill here. It wasn’t about you and I do apologize. The drawings were cool though. Oddly enough, I’ve never seen MHA.

      • No problem. Been rough here too, so I fell into the same venting thing. Didn’t realize what post I was on until now, which shows how aware I am of things.

MHA is pretty good, but I know it’s not for everyone. I think it’s fairly standard Shounen (right term?) as far as plot goes.
