As part of the Hype month/period/whatever for the next book. I’m thinking of reviving the unlucky character interviews. I can hear the complaints or the sound of crickets since these things tended to fail in the later days. Still, I’m a glutton for punishment and figure it’s less spoiler-based than doing character bios. Feel free to suggest anything else you think will be interesting for Hyping the 7th book of a series where subplots come to a head, a new hero is introduced, revelations are made, etc.
Here’s the poll:

The gods would be my first choice, as I’m fascinated by your idea to include their antics in the story. The Chaos Elves are a second choice, as I’d love to understand their motivation better.

They’re an interesting breed. Right now it looks like Nyx and Trinity are locked in. A bunch of others are tied at 1. So we’ll see what happens. Only 5 can win. 🙂

And you thought it’d be crickets 😉

Wasn’t sure on the voting. I’ve noticed people love to vote for interview subjects, but then I make the post for people to ask away and nothing happens. We’ll see what happens. Probably doing it for the week after my son’s Spring Break. That way I won’t be away from the computer when they happen.

Tried voting twice but the darned thing wouldn’t let me. Luke, NYX, Sari, Trinity, I didn’t vote for him, but Ii have a couple of bones to pick with Nimby

Really? I had it set up for multiple choices.

Same vote twice.

Well all four of your choices are on the list. The tough part is I have several characters tied. Unless I put Luke, Sari, and Kira in the same conversation. It would definitely connect to the upcoming book.

I knew I’d get outvoted on this one, but I had to vote for Timoran. But I can’t argue against the ones in the lead. Nyx and Trinity are good choices.

Yeah. Poor Timoran gets very little attention. Even after what he did in ‘Curse of the Dark Wind’. I think he’s just too low key in temperament. That and people see ‘barbarian’ and assume he’s a dumb muscle-head.
