Twubs Chat on Saturday, March 21st

So I’m going to do a small online ‘Live Chat’ through Twitter using their TWUBS system, which I’ve done twice before.  I’m thinking of running this a week from this Saturday from 8PM-11PM EST, which gives more people time to get involved.  This is going to help me get a feel for the system again and see how people react to the idea.  Part of me is considering doing a monthly TWUBS chat just for a fun, interactive event with readers/friends/etc. So, how does it work?

Well, I’ll post the link that will bring you to the chat area on the day of the event, which does require a Twitter account.  You posit questions and I reply.  It can be to me or one of my characters.  We can chat too, but I will be trying to keep things mature and somewhat professional.  For example, I’ll probably be ignoring questions about character’s favorite underwear style.

I have noted that the responses you make end up in your Twitter feed to help bring people into the conversation.  I know I’m giving out odd warnings, but these are things that people felt should have been mentioned the first time I did this.  For now, I’ll leave you with the hashtag that will be revived:

#windemerespeaks

Hope to see people there when the time comes.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  1. Best of luck with the chat! I’d love to join you, but 8 pm is 4 am in Athens, so… 🙂

Also, an update; I have a cover reveal for Shannon Thompson, so I rescheduled your guest post for the 20th. The address remains the same – http://wp.me/p4h3m4-10D. I hope that’s not a problem.
