So, I’m home and the gathering is over. Everything went smoothly and a big thank you to everyone who responded to the promo help request. Currently, I’m exhausted and planning to use what little energy I have to help clean . . . or sneak some editing in if people forget I’m in the house.
Something I’m going to try to write up tomorrow is a post that gives tips about using Twitter for promotion. I was going to add it to the Promo Help request, but the funeral home’s wifi kept cutting out. This will include explanation of hashtags, tiny url, the Amazon Twitter button, and various things I’ve noticed since using Twitter. It’s a powerful tool and learning about it can be a boon to Indie Authors. I’ll have it go up in the afternoon since I have a book excerpt going up in the morning. This also gives me time to write it up.
Again, thanks for everyone’s condolences and help.

Thanks. One day I’ll figure out how to do those. I can barely get smiley faces on here.

You’re welcome. Gotta give credit where credit is due. I’d have nothing without your prompt.

{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} Looking forward to the twitter post. That is water that I haven’t dipped my toe into yet.

Highly recommended that you wade into it. It’s slow at first, but once you gather up a decent amount of followers and get used to it, there is a payoff.

Wish I could sleep like that. 🙂 (It’s like no matter how tired I get, my brain still wants to think about writing.) Bet you could use a good night’s sleep, too.

My mind usually does, but it’s losing the battle. Just so exhausted and drained.

That would be Aidan. He doesn’t do this any more. Nowadays we have to duct tape him to the bed to get him to sleep.
