Death of the Yahoo Email

For anyone that has e-mailed me, my Yahoo account has been blocked.  If I can get in, I’ll try to salvage things.  But I can’t get in.

To anyone that I was conversing with or that wanted a guest blog from me, PLEASE shoot me an e-mail at lukecallindor@gmail.com

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  3. I used to work at Yahoo. Did they block you or is the mail program just not working?

Oh good grief, Charles! That’s dreadful. I only have a Yahoo account for cases like joining online forums, etc – like wordpress. The email I use is gmail. Hope you can get this worked out!

  5. Yahoo is awful. I still use it as my main account – but only because it seems such a pain to change after years of using it.

I ended up having to change from Yahoo to Gmail myself, for much the same reason. It’s a shame, because Gmail has no way to sort messages except by creating folders, which makes it damned difficult to locate a specific email.

    • I’m running into that problem now. The filtering doesn’t even seem to work. It put everything into one folder instead of sorting it. I guess a plus side here is all of those spam e-mails I was getting are going to go away.

That sucks … I had the same problem not too long ago. My primary account is Gmail, but I maintained a Yahoo account for other stuff (frankly as a way to divert spam). Still, that account went back a number of years and now those emails and contacts are simply lost.
