Yeah, the band may not be around (are they?) and Fred Durst seemed to gain some infamy. Still, this song became a personal anthem for me during college. Born of frustration and simply getting fed up with certain people, I would listen to this song for hours.
Truth is I do tend to do a lot better when I do things my way.
Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
I think we all have our personal anthems for when we feel misunderstood and you can’t go wrong with Limp Bizkit, especially when you’re angry. Break Stuff is also a great Limp Bizkit track for when your having one of those days.
Great song. Limp Bizkit was a great band and I miss those great times. Reminds me a lot of growing up. Thanks for sharing such a great anthem to great days 🙂
Oh! I just read your last comment about your “youth” geez! I love limp bizket and I love to do things my way…and when I’d get pi…hmmmm…miffed I’d play this full blast…in my middle age 🙂
Well, I remember when I was 33…funny but you do feel pretty out of it at that age. Thought you were at least my second son’s age. Well…you kids are sure dynamic…good for you! 😉

Break Stuff is definitely a good one. Liked Rollin’ too, but that’s more because I was an Undertaker fan.

It was hard to play this extremely loud because it was college and they had ‘quiet rules’. So, I had to settle for loud enough.

The nice thing about being my age in my house…no quiet rules! Strange how it is very quiet anyway, unless we make the noise!

We still have quiet rules, but only when the toddler is sleeping or my dad has a headache. Otherwise, we have some type of music playing.

They’re always fun until you have them and can’t hand them off to people.
