As promised, these are the pictures from the convention. Keep in mind that it was rather small and I stayed in the vendor room for most of it. The event was spread out over a large building and most of what was going were games. We did get pictures of the people you can connect to characters and of the table.

There you have it. The pictures promised. I apologize about having so few. There were so many old friends that we haven’t seen in years that we got caught up with conversations. We learned our lesson for next year. I’m pretty sure there will be a next year and I might have a 4-year-old mascot running around. If I can dress my son up as Fizzle or Nimby then it’d be a blast. Though, my wife and I might prefer to leave him out of the extremely long car ride. We were whining by the end of it, so I doubt he’d do better.

Sounds like you got to have some fun while you were there. Did your wife survive? The table display looked great by the way. You should be seeing a review pretty soon from one of my students that just finished your book. I got the following text message, which you will have to decipher, but I am assuming is good… “Hella Rocks! They should make a movie”

My wife survived better than I did. She got to play games and hobnob while I stuck to the table. She also has the magical ability to fall asleep comfortably within minutes while I take at least 15 minutes to pass out. We had a king size bed, so I wasn’t used to being so far away from her while sleeping. Kept waking up, thinking she wandered off somewhere.
Looking forward to the review. It’s amazing how many people have told me that my books should be turned into either a movie or a tv series. Someone suggested trying to get a deal with Starz or Showtime to give them a show in the same genre as Game of Thrones. I suggested going with HBO and they could do a fantasy block like the old days of Hercules & Xena.

I always liked Autolycus (Bruce Campbell rocks!) and Gabrielle. One thing I wish happened in that era is Lucy Lawless as Wonder Woman.

Thanks. Funny thing here is that I walked in to see a bunch of guys that I haven’t seen since 2003. Apparently, word had not spread about my status as an author. I’m grinning just thinking of the looks I got when I mentioned ‘my book has sold over 2,800 copies in two months’.
