Fortune Days by The Glitch Mob

This is a long techno song and might be a little repetitive to some people, but there’s something about it that grabbed my attention.  Not just my attention too.  My wife heard it and scramble over to my computer to check it out when it appeared on my Pandora station out of nowhere.  I don’t even know what connected to this song to bring it into my circle.

Listening to instrumental music has always been oddly meditative to me.  Close my eyes and let it draw out various images in my mind.  I use instrumental only music when thinking my way through battle scenes or to just get a scatter-shot of images for an upcoming stories.  For example, this song makes me think a lot about how Luke and Sari fight.  Both of them are very agile with a lot of flipping, spinning, and grace.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  1. Love techno music. In fact, instrumental music is great music to read by or at work. Thanks for sharing. This is great music to paint the room by this morning.

Great song, They’ve been around for a few years, like around 2009. If you haven’t checked out Daft Punk’s song Get Lucky it’s pretty funky.
