Questions 3: Tasty Treats

Most people enjoy treats.  They’re guilty pleasures and sinful indulgences.  Some of us hide it from the world.  Others revel in it.  Some have an easier time than others trying to pinpoint what their favorites are.  For example, I really can’t decide on what my favorite candy would be.  I’m leaning towards Snickers, but I love Milky Way.  Reese’s is up there too, but I can’t have that as much.  You’ve got ice cream, cakes, pies, and every manner of treat.  So:

  1. What are some of your favorite treats?
  2. Is there a treat you had as a child, but can never find it as an adult?
  3. What is one treat that you’ve never been a fan of?

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  3. Some of my favorite treats are in no real order, Scoop of Ice cream with Hershey’s chocolate sauce, Magnum bars, Dove bars, chocolate chip cookies, potato chips, Cheetos, chips and salsa, chocolate chunk cheesecake, chocolate chunk bundt cake, almonds, and cashews,
The treat I had as a child but can never find as an adult is a bag of hot hand-cut french fries for 15 cents at Sky’s Speedee Lunch.
The treat I’m not fond of is sunflower seeds in the shell.

  4. I’m all over the place here. I like Reeces, but lately I’m into these chocolate covered macadamias from Costco. I’m also a big fan of cheese. Salty and crunchy will do it, too. Never was into any kind of hard candy. We used to get these things called pizza puffs when I was a kid. They were kind of like Cheetos for texture. Haven’t seen those in decades.
