The Big 4-0

We interrupt Immortal Wars: The Summoning to bring me a break because it’s my birthday.  I’m 40, which means:

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Naaaah. FIFTY is the halfway point. Just like on a car’s speedometer, the “needle” doesn’t start going down until you exceed that point! 😀 You have another ten years to go, and some of us are still Depends-free even at 76. SMILE! I’d love to be 40 again. 😉

Have a happy birthday, Charles! Celebrate like crazy (from home, of course) and eat CAKE! (Even if it’s take-out!) Here’s to many, many more, and to celebrations held during happier times! 🙂

    • Thanks. I’m on the fence about the halfway thing. Not sure I want to reach 100 considering health issues.

I have some major health issues, too, so I can identify, but I want to tell MORE stories, so I’m determined to keep truckin’ as long as I can. I’m slower, and live with some chronic pain, but so far, I’m hanging in there. And I REFUSE to go before I’ve finished my WIP, even if I’ve been suffering from a lack of creativity for the last couple of weeks. That’s going to change, soon! I have grandkids I want to see grow up, and those stories to write, and enough books on my TBR piles that I’ll need to reach 125 before coming close to reading them all. Unfinished business. Yep. That’ll keep me going. 🙂

      • Hope that’s enough for me. Otherwise, I’ll have to become a ghost who wanders the world wishing he had corporeal hands to write with.
