This comic will probably show up again before the end of the year. Anyway, I was going to do another ‘Monster Maker’ post, but it felt weird doing it after Halloween. Hope everyone had a fun one. Mine was mild and low key. Since many of us are probably coming out of a candy or horror movie stupor, I’m going to make this post simple and get some feedback.
What did you think of this year’s posts? Should any of them return for next year? Is there anything you would like me to do next October?
I know this is not going to be terribly helpful, but I read with great interest whatever you write! From personal news to book excerpts, I hope there’s more for us in the coming year!

2020 is going to be a throwback Thursday adventure. Putting up my first book from high school section by section since Bedlam will be done in December.

I enjoy your goal posts. I also like the ask the character question posts. I think the posts where you give the origin of characters and storylines from your college days are most interesting. The excerpts are terrific. (I think I am like Nicolas. Not too helpful and enjoy most of what you write.)

Thanks. I’m never sure about the interview posts. They don’t get as much interaction as I expect. Wonder if I should start doing origins for future characters too.

I think any origins are good.

I’ll have to remember that since I’m running low on January and February topics.

I always enjoy your goal posts, which I feel a bit weird saying considering most weeks don’t go too well for you. But it’s the slice of real life aspect I like. I enjoy getting a glimpse in to other people’s lives, especially when I can do it in a way that doesn’t require me to do too much socializing in person.
With October spacifically though, I love the monster maker thing, and am already looking forward to you doing that again next year, so I really hope you do.

True. The Saturday posts typically take a nosedive since things tend to go wrong. Glad Monster Maker is a hot.

The Monster Maker posts and the shoppe posts are so creative. I hope they will return along with the origin posts for the people, monsters, etc. that populate your series.

I enjoy the shoppe posts, but I can’t come up with any good ones lately. They run out of steam fast or simply go flat. Origin posts might be returning to some extent. I’ll have to hit series that I haven’t written though like Darwin and Sin.

I’m kind of like everyone else. I enjoy your site and tend to visit every day. I like the monster maker and the shoppe posts. They’re kind of unique to you, so they stand out.

Thanks. I’ll have to figure out some old shoppe topics.

Maybe there’s some new madness you haven’t even thought of yet that you could throw into the mix. That’s how I came up with my Lisa interviews.

I’ve been wondering. Having trouble focusing on coming up with new things. Too much brain fog.

Wait until you get older. That fog gets thicker.
