I kept thinking of ideas for a post, but I got nothing. Was going to post a bunch of the music videos my son keeps asking for, but those never go over well. Considered starting the War of Nytefall: Loyalty teasers, but it seems too early to start that for an April release. I even thought about asking if anyone wants a mid to late April guest post revolving around my new series. For some reason, I just didn’t have it in me. So, maybe I’ll just post the first question that comes to my mind:
What do you do when you abruptly find yourself with free time? I mean, nothing planned and no projects looming. You just wake up and everything has fallen by the wayside with nothing to take its place. Sky is the limit.
I usually do one of the following: 1) binge watch Netflix or Hulu series; 2) Daydream about my next project; 3) Plan out my goals for the week; or 4) Sit around depressed because I have nothing to do. I hate #4 by the way. Don’t choose #4. 🙂

I fall into #4 a lot more than I would like to admit. Love that first option though. Think we just got Netflix around here too.

It depends. If I’m still tired, I might go back to bed for a while. Otherwise I’ll usually spend the time either reading, or watching some of the movies and TV shows I keep promising myself I’ll get to one of these days.

We’re allowed to go back to bed? I thought it was illegal to do that once you crawl out from under the covers.

It might be, but I’ve never been good at following rules. 😉

They’re more guidelines.

That’s how I feel about them too, and sometimes the guidelines don’t work for me. 😉

Whoever thought humans waking up early really didn’t think things through. 😦

Depends on the weather. I like to go for a walk or a drive. Sometimes I play a video game or watch an episode of a show I have on DVD.

Winter seems to gravitate towards the latter around here. Where do you usually walk or drive to?

Movies of course…
Next: if I can I go to another city (1-2 hrs away from mine)

Movies are always fun. We talking theater or at home?

Binge watch on Netflix usually. But then I feel guilty because I didn’t use that free time to write! 😦

I’ve been there. That’s why I try to still do a little outlining. Kind of like having one cookie while on a diet. That’s how diets work, right? Never tried one.

I look for things that need attention.

I’ve tried that. Ends up being chores. 😦

It doesn’t happen often but when it does, I immediately grab the honey do list and try to knock out some of the projects. It is a stress reliever and I pick up brownie points at the same time.

Free time? What the hell is that? lol! When my brain has shut off, I turn on the tv and watch something on my pvr. Either that or read.
That graphic is so me today. I’ve been brain-dead all day.

I’m on the verge of brain deadness. Just pushing along to finish my current book for the summer release. Tv sounds good.

On the rare occasions that I have free time suddenly and it’s not because I’ve got a cold, I normally read or watch tv.

Those seem to be popular and that makes sense. They’re the easiest activities to get to when you’re home with nothing to do.

Never actually played that game. What system was it for?

PC, Xbox and PS. But don’t play it, it will take over your life.

It’ll have some stiff competition by the kid. This is why I’ve only played quick platformers and adventure games for the last couple years.
