Charles, may I ask? Is it better to publish more than one book at a time in a series? I know this has nothing to do with the post, but just a question to help me decided some things. Thanks, for your help!

Do you mean release multiple books of the same series on the same day? I’ve seen people do that and it comes down to personal preference. It is hard to market multiple books at the same time, but the benefit is that people already know that there is a continuation of the story. Better or worse is really subjective. What genre are they?

YA Fantasy with horror elements.

I would put some time between releases. Maybe a month? This way you can promote each one with some focus. Although you can do a bundle thing. Not really sure what the best path is.

I don’t have the others started yet. I just wondered if I should hold the first back until I complete the series, or just put them out as I go. Thanks, for your help!

It is common for one to hold the first book back until the third is written. It gives you a cushion for releases.

Yes, I do mean whether it’s better to release like a month apart or go longer in between. I guess it’s hard to tell and does go with your preference.
