Over the weekend, I read Infinite Waters and now I review it:
All of these stories have great twists, which is why I read it in one sitting. Not that the collection is very long, but short stories tend to make it easy to put a book down. The story that runs between the others helps since I kept wondering what would happen there. I was very impressed with how well the characters came across when you’re only with them for a few pages. It’s really hard to pick a favorite, but ‘Two’s A Crowd’ is the one where I felt the most amount of suspense. That one is where the author really pulled out a ‘Twilight Zone’ type of vibe.
I would highly recommend this collection.
I have no words. Thank you!!! 🙂

So glad to hear it. I was told I need extra stories for that price, so I’m slightly delaying the launch, in order to add an extra one.
For some reason, Amazon shows the book as having 69 pages, when in fact it’s 130. I’ve contacted them asking if it’s a bug with their new way of calculating book size.

Weird. Do you think part of it has to do with some of it being the extra like ‘The Power of Six’ excerpt? I’ve wondered if they actually have a person check it and log in where the main story/collection ends.

Oh, sorry. That was one of the betas, not Amazon. I should have made that clearer.

I like Nicholas’ work myself. I didn’t think he’d released this yet, and it’s been on my watchlist.

I caught wind of it over the weekend. I was rather surprised it was released so early too.

I see in the comments that he’s going to do an update. Maybe I’ll wait for that version.

Good idea. Not sure how reliable the Amazon updating system is.
