First Post Challenge

This is an odd one that Silver Threading hit me with when I wasn’t doing anything.  Can’t do any writing with the little guy running around.  To be honest, it doesn’t take much work like some of the others.  More of a copy/paste and brief intro, so it’s better for my mindless mood right now.  Here we go:

Here are the rules:

  • Copy-paste, link, pingback or whatever way you want to, your first post.
  • State what type of post that was. E.G. Introduction, Story, Poem
  • Explain why that was your first post.
  • Nominate 5 other bloggers. Five because I know the pain of opening a lot of tabs at once.

Welcome to Windemere

Seriously, this was it.  My goal was to make my blog all about my writing and this was my introduction.  Very little attention hit this thing, but how often does a blog have an amazing first post?  I had a schedule, a brief tale of what made me start, and no pictures or links.  Very basic.  It took a while to get into the groove of things.  That’s really it.  Kind of a plain intro that makes sense given the goal of the blog.

Nominating!

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Thanks for nominating me. I’ll have to think about whether or not I will do this. I’ve got some tight deadlines this week. But I enjoyed your first post. 🙂

Hahaha! I try to participate in these when I can. They are a fun way to get to know other bloggers. I’m bowing out (not so gracefully) only because my first post was such a piece of crap. I’ve seriously thought about deleting it. It was a test post. I had no clue what I was doing. But the next few were just about as bad. Ha!

Hi. I’m visiting from Melissa’s blog. She tagged me for the 777 Challenge too and I’m visiting the other people who share my faith 😉

Well, sounds like your first post was a lot like mine. I think taking some time to get the swing of things is normal, especially with new things. When I started my blog I had no idea what I was doing. Not that now I do, but I’m a little less clueless 😉
