Debuting December 12th on Amazon Kindle!

Cover Art by Jason Pedersen
After their battles in Gaia and surviving the Island of Pallice, the champions of Windemere are off on their next adventure.
In his quest to be a hero and help others, Luke Callindor has jumped into danger countless times and would do so again without hesitation. So when he is infected by the toxic Dark Wind, it is up to his friends to find a cure and keep his courage alive. With time running out and their enemies in the shadows, one ally will make the decision to share in Luke’s suffering and forge a bond that runs thicker than blood. Such a sacrifice might not be enough when the truth behind this living curse comes to light.
Will Luke find the strength to defeat the Dark Wind? What ghosts from his past will appear during his weakest hour?
About the Author:
Charles Yallowitz was born and raised on Long Island, NY, but he has spent most of his life wandering his own imagination in a blissful haze. Occasionally, he would return from this world for the necessities such as food, showers, and Saturday morning cartoons. One day he returned from his imagination and decided he would share his stories with the world. After his wife decided that she was tired of hearing the same stories repeatedly, she convinced him that it would make more sense to follow his dream of being a fantasy author. So, locked within the house under orders to shut up and get to work, Charles brings you Legends of Windemere. He looks forward to sharing all of his stories with you and his wife is happy he finally has someone else to play with.

Me too. I just realized that’ll be on the debut day too. Did not plan that. 🙂

And here I thought you were a genius, planning it. 🙂

Accidental genius. The universe tends to be deathly allergic to me planning stuff. So I stumble along and hope for the best. 😀

It’s another beauty Charles. Your books look amazing all on the same page like this. Seven days to go. 🙂

Yeah. I’m going to have a lot of trouble sitting on it until the debut, but patience is key. I’ll be spending most of next week relaxing and gradually setting up some promo stuff. I can only do so much before the book goes live.

Relaxing a bit sounds like a good idea. Are you sending us posts on the book launch? Fuzzy memory. 😀 I know what you mean about keeping a lid on it till the day. I’ve purposely not put the final element into my cover yet because I might just give in in a moment of weakness and share.

No. I’m just going to make the announcement and hope people either reblog or make a post about it. I saw nothing out of the last two blog tours, so I’m sticking with a cover reveal this time around.
I do have to prep a description for Jason, so he can think about the next cover. The landscape covers are a switch, so I need to think scene instead of character.

I’ll reblog and share then with pleasure. I’m looking forward to my first ever tour this month because it’s so exciting when an author does a launch and all of a sudden you see the book popping up all over the place – like being at a really cool party. Thinking up the cover art isn’t easy, and it’s brilliant when you have someone to translate what you see into a picture. 🙂

I’ll be happy to help with that. My thing with blog tours might be that I release books too quickly to make it a special event. Saturation has become a problem for me.

The perfect cover to make people wonder!!! The dragon is important! I like this way of scenery!

Jason made a good point when he was telling me about it. The earlier books were more about the character introductions and establishment, so portraits worked. Now we’re getting into the meat, so landscape that denotes the story is the new way to go.

Book 2 is still my favorite cover. That one really sold me on trying out the series. It looked epic and exciting. Though, they are all very nice covers:)

I have to admit that Book 2 is my favorite as well, but Nyx is also one of my favorite characters to write. 🙂

That’s awesome! She’s my favorite character!

Always great to hear. Nyx seems to be one of the popular ones. Hoping everyone enjoys her evolution over the series.

I think they will. She’s a good’n:)

Some times I wonder if this is more her story than anyone else’s.

She’s definitely an important character.
I feel exactly the same way about my wizard’s apprentice, Margo. She takes over the second book, and I decided it was best. I hope she’s the reader favorite, personally, because she’s mine:)

One of the tough things with having an ensemble cast is that I have favorites and I keep gravitating toward them. I think this is where my outlines help because I make sure to give every character a few times to shine. Otherwise, it would be a lot more Nyx and I think she’d lose her charm. Only so many times I can have her argue with Sari.

Exactly. My sister keeps a percentage track of her character’s scenes and POVS. I’ve been keeping a tally sheet because I’m less professional. Haha!

I haven’t tried that. For now, I’ve settled for making up for lack of time in one book by giving them more in another. For example, Book 9 is going to focus on a hero who tends to get overshadowed.

Hope so. I’m using it to do a little groundwork for the next series too. Means I get to play around with the Dawn Fangs. 😀

That’s an awesome cover! Great job on the branding and series tie-in aspect! I particularly like the motion element carried by the figure and the wind. Good luck!

Thanks. It’s definitely a great cover that is showing a shift in the series. This one is definitely more telling, which works now that most of the characters have been introduced as well as the central plot.

Wow! This looks brilliant and as usual the art work is fantastic. I apologise for not having turned up here for a while, heaven knows what’s happened to my alerts but they’re all gone to pot! Congratulations on another release. I’m really looking forward to getting my teeth into this series. So many books, so little time but, soon for deffo, I must start these.
Good luck with the launch, I hope it sells in truck loads.
