A Call to Arms for the Call to Arms

My Grl by John W. Howell

My Grl by John W. Howell

I was talking to the great John W. Howell whose book you can purchase by clicking on the picture above.  An excellent thriller.

Now, we were going over ways to get people to volunteer for blog tours.  Reblogs don’t get much traction, but original posts do.  So, I’m looking for bloggers who are willing to take an HTML post I made to get Blog Tour volunteers.

This should get more attention to the Google Document in the post and it will also show if I have the HTML thing done correctly when pictures are included.  Also, those who already volunteered can use this to test their HTML posting ability.  It’s really just switch to ‘Text’ on the toolbar of the ‘New Post’ screen, copy, and paste.

Anyway, let me know if you’re interested in helping.

Oh and there’s a great chance that the Cover Reveal will be next Wednesday.  When I have confirmation, I’ll make a post and send an email to all the volunteers.  The Blog Tour will be taking volunteers up until March 30th.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  1. I already signed up – but the HTML is the easiest way to do it. I agree about retweets so an original post is best. I am happy to promote #4, if I can keep my nose out of the book long enough 😉

  2. Apology for not responding to your earlier call to fill out the support form. Would my nonfiction oriented blog (~350 followers) be of any assistance? If so, could you spell out in plain English for us non-techies was is required for an HTML post?

I’d be happy to help with a post, but I also wonder about credibility, since I am at present more a nonfiction blogger, with the exception of a little poetry and comedic posts.

    • Was it for the Cover Reveal and Blog Tour? I think I only have you down for the blog tour. This post to get volunteers to promote the Sign Up sheet. I’d be happy to send you the HTML page I made if you’re willing.

    • You’re signed up. Though, it’s looking like I’ll have to drop the blog tour down to 2 weeks instead of a month. I still have time to build things up, but it isn’t even enough for 1 per day and I’d like to have 2 per day to avoid any gaps from accidental forgettings.
