Review of Retail Memories: When Customers Attack by Papi Z

This book reminded me of my time in retail, which I’m still not sure is a good thing.  There was a lot of humor in these stories that kept me smiling.  I read this book for some laughs and I got it.

It was a little awkward reading the book.  The author uses a first person perspective and the tense gets muddled when characters talk.  Since the narrator is a character in each story, he would change from the past tense of descriptive narration to the present tense of dialogue.  This jarred me a few times, but I got used to it once I figured out what was going on.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
