Excerpts from Legends of Windemere: Beginning of a Hero reviews:

“This was a good book. No, it was a great book. There was adventure, a teensy bit of romance, great characters who were described in wonderful detail, and a story that kept you wanting to read more.” -Pamela Beckford

“I have always loved fantasy. I think the very first series I ever read was the Belgariad by David Eddings. Although it has it’s differences I couldn’t help but be reminded of the Belgariad while reading Legends of Windemere. The main characters are alike. They are both young and full of themselves. I can only imagine how much Luke Callindor will grow though the series.” -Annie2186

“I enjoyed the book. I wasn’t sure about the present tense, but I thought it all held together well, and I loved the humour. You don’t notice it at first, then it comes back and bites you on the arse.” -Rose

Excerpts from Legends of Windemere: Prodigy of Rainbow Tower reviews:

“Something I find unique about this fantasy novel that I don’t often find in others, is that the hero, Luke Callindor is rather of the unlucky variety. He does not get everything he asks for, he stumbles, falls, gets knocked down (literally)and taught lessons as he goes. This is helping him to grow into the hero that was promised in the first book. He is learning new things with every adventure and his flaws are they type that all good main characters should have. He has already changed a lot from when we met him in Beginning of a Hero, where I rather thought of him as a spoiled prat for the first half of the story. It is nice to see an author take growth of his characters seriously.” -Ionia Martin

“I found l was pulled into the story and be came one with the story. Can’t wait to read Allure of the Gypsies!! Thank you Charles E Yallowitz. Please keep going your stories are awesome.” -Debra Perkins

“I really liked how I could hear the author’s voice through the main character, hero Luke Callindor. And I can’t help but admire how well written and thorough each character is, from the treacherous Lich and the latest villains to Luke’s newfound friends and old companions.” -Briana Vedsted

Legends of Windemere: Allure of the Gypsies is set to debut on Halloween 2013!

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
