Two Bestselling Books

For some reason screen shots wouldn’t work.  Both books are now on Top 100 Amazon Lists:

Legends of Windemere: Beginning of a Hero:

Legends of Windemere: Prodigy of Rainbow Tower:

Best so far for Prodigy is #28, but it ran into the same problem as Beginning of a Hero.  It got too close to a Game of Thrones book.  That series really feels like it’s made a nest at the top of the list that only traditionally published authors can get into.  Not surprised since it’s still selling like mad and I’d need a major flood of sales to get near it.  Some day I’ll get there.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

    • Some day. Fantasy has it’s various tiers and I think it’s more pronounced than in other genres. Mostly because of the fervor of the various fandoms. I would need another big boost, which I might get near the end of the week. Game of Thrones has the advantage of a television series too, so people that are into the show and finally reading the books are involved there too. Not a bad thing.

  5. Congratulations.

I continue to hope that Amazon will enable a “filter out Game of Thrones novels” option, especially since I cannot get into those books.

    • Thanks. I think we just have to accept that Game of Thrones rules the genre for now. I’d the books to stay in this lists simply to see if I can get by any of them. Though the GoT fan base is very loyal. I think it’s something to aspire to.
