Going to be brief here. I met a bunch of my goals last week even with the back issue that knocked me out for half a day. Being a lot more careful now. So, the goals for this week are:
- Write 2 chapters of The Compass Key. Consistency is key here.
- Characters for The Slumber Wars. Easier than I might think.
- Abandon internet on Tuesday for 8-year-anniversary. Seeing Star Trek and getting a nice lunch.
- Read more of Shadows of Sheradan.
- Figure out more for Ninja Never Wins. Might need to change that title too.
- Possible: Hype Prodigy of Rainbow Tower release all week until debut. This depends on me getting the cover art this week. If I get it then there will be daily posts revolving around Nyx, Trinity, and Prodigy of Rainbow Tower. Hoping this is a goal I can push for.
That’s really it. Going to be a low-key week.
That’s low key????? Sounds ambitious to me. Enjoy your anniversary

Thanks. Most of those are more mental or nighttime activities. #6 would change up everything though and make next weekend really busy.

Mental activities are important. Planning/thinking time is valuable in most professions. Plan long, run short is an expression in my line of work.

Sounds like a great motto. Planning makes the actual work take less time for me.

LoL! If this is your low-key week…then what is your high-key week, I wonder!
All the best for these goals! Have a rocking anniversary! 🙂

High-key would be 3 chapters, finish designing a new story, finishing a book, and publishing another book. Though, the week might be a bit easier than expected.

Wow…that’s lots of work! 😀
I really should increase my expectations per day! LoL!

I’m not shooting that high. Not until I know I can put a full week without interruption into things.

Yes. You’re right…I am thinking hard about my story now…there are a few changes to be made…but I’ve finally reached to the part which I love the most, or perhaps the partt which is the most interesting…! 😀

Wow! That doesn’t sound low key!! Loving your idea of creating goals though, I really need to do that. I got as far as bringing the kitchen timer into my workspace today so that I could make sure I didn’t get lost in blog land…..

I get lost around here all day. Though, you can tell that most of my goals are simply to get a little work done on something. The only exact number is the 1st one. So, it’s a simpler list than everyone thinks. Designing one character, reading one chapter, and simply thinking about a few of the others would count as success.

And forget the rest of the list.

Can’t do that. Too much work to do. 😀

Right, that’s it, I’m going to do a goal post this week and the competition is on, Charles. 😉

You’ll probably win. I have more malicious distractions around here. Also, #6 might not happen.

You’d be amazed how easily no distractions can become the biggest distractions! When I’ve this much time to spare I develop a real “I can leave that for later” attitude and before I know it I’m off to bed!

I’d still take that over the human distractions that I have no control over. At least not until I learn telepathy.

Didn’t think about doing a review, but I really should. Maybe just review the entire event and grade my wife on behavior. 😛

You forgot: Stop letting Ionia distract me with her idle chatter. Get Cupcakes. No squirrels were harmed during the writing of this post.

First one might be impossible. Ironically, we have to pick up cupcakes tomorrow for the little guy. He ran out today. Lost a few chipmunks on this one though.

Sure. It’s taking up pocket space anyway.
