Thank Yous, Plans, and a Vanishing Act

Thank You

I’d like to give a large thank you to everyone who has followed, commented, and liked on my blog this week.  Apparently, records were broken and that makes me blush while staring at my feet.  I really felt the love during a week that was filled with stress and frustration. I tried to hide it, but I don’t think I did a good job.  Still, I learned that I can come here for a pick-me-up and laughs.

Plans

I still have to do an origin post this week, but doing that week of origins reduced my options.  The one origin that I’ve really wanted to get to can’t be done until a certain scene of Beginning of a Hero is posted.  Not counting the scene up today, that scene is 3 posts away.  So, there will be a Wednesday post of Beginning of a Hero, so I can do the character origin along with the scene.  I’ve hinted at this origin in the past and it might actually be the character that I’m most proud of.

Vanishing Act

I’m not going to be on here much during the weekend due to having a lot of stuff to do and needing to give my laptop a break.  I might be able to jump on to post a poem in the morning, but it takes me an hour and a half to get through my morning reader.  So, I apologize if I miss any important posts by the time I return on Monday.  If I can find the time to play catch up or get some alone time with the laptop then I will.  Hopefully, I don’t miss too much.

Again, thanks to everyone who rewards my ramblings and reminds me that the world of artists is a community and not an island.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles Yallowitz was born and raised on Long Island, NY, but he has spent most of his life wandering his own imagination in a blissful haze. Occasionally, he would return from this world for the necessities such as food, showers, and Saturday morning cartoons. One day he returned from his imagination and decided he would share his stories with the world. After his wife decided that she was tired of hearing the same stories repeatedly, she convinced him that it would make more sense to follow his dream of being a fantasy author. So, locked within the house under orders to shut up and get to work, Charles brings you Legends of Windemere. He looks forward to sharing all of his stories with you and his wife is happy he finally has someone else to play with.

I’m sorry to hear you have had a stressful week. It seems that is going around lately as mine was very much the same. Don’t burn yourself out. Take you time. Your audience will still be there, waiting with bated breath.

Thanks. Things are starting to improve and a weekend of rest should be helpful. I’ll be having the house to myself for most of next week too, so I see a lot of low stress time in my future.
